With over 320 days of sun a year and an average yearly temperature of 20ºC/68ºF, this area is also referred to as “Costa del golf”, boasting the highest concentration of golf courses in Europe. The resort is close to many touristic and cultural sites: castles and towers in the area, along with Malaga’s Alcazaba and Picasso, Thyssen and Pompidou museums. Vibrant nightlife is offered in Benalmádena’s Puerto Marina, Marbella´s Puerto Banús and Malaga’s Teatinos neighbourhood, among others.
