Overview
Shenandoah Crossing is located approximately 30 miles northeast of Charlottesville and 107 miles southwest of Washington, D.C. Children and adults alike will enjoy bonfires, haunted trail walks, storytelling and arts and crafts at Friendship Square, which also features our General Store, arcade, fitness center, sports courts and equipment rentals. Next to the Square is Watership Harbour, Shenandoah Crossings pool and recreation area including an expansive main pool, activity pool, two hot tubs and an interactive spray ground. Nearby Nickajack Park and Makepeace Station offer horseshoes, a kids playscape, organized excursions, games, ghost tours and more. Sallies Stables and our Equestrian Center also offer over two-dozen trail horses for horseback riding. The Trading Post is open daily, 8-4pm. Limited offerings of breakfast sandwiches, pizza and some grocery items are available in the deli.

The nearest airport is 30 miles away at Charlottesville. From the airport, take US Hwy 29 north to Hwy 33 and go east approximately 4 miles past Gordonsville to Rte 749. Take Rte 749 to the right 1.75 miles to the resort entrance. From Richmond (80 miles), take I-64 west to Hwy 15N and continue to Gordonsville. At Gordonsville take Hwy 33 East to Rte 749. Take Rte 749 to the right 1.75 miles to the resort entrance. Stop at the security booth as you enter the property. They will direct you to the check in building which is open 24 hours.

Due to a recent storm that impacted the East Coast, the resort is experiencing challenges with internet connectivity. This may result in a lack of internet access while on the property for guests through 8/17/23.
Guests may experience temporary Wi-Fi, cable and telephone outages during cable installation project, or a vendor may need unit access. Vendors will be accompanied by Resort staff members if unit access is necessary.
Boating facilities and marina are open seasonally.
