Below Mucubaji, a beautiful place to visit for its famous lagoon on the road to Barinas, is the village of Santo Domingo, an excellent place for trout, mushrooms and crafts. Going down toward via Barinas and Barinitas, there is a spectacular mountain road where you can see mountains on both sides and enjoy beautiful sights such as the Santo Domingo Dam and The Velo de la Novia waterfall.

Our comfortable 2-bedroom accommodations sleeping 08/06 are located in our new building. These 2 bedroom units offer a living room with a fireplace, a dining room, and a kitchen. 2-bedroom units sleeping 08/04 are cabin style units with 2 bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a dining room, and a partial kitchen. All units have cable TV, a hairdryer, and heating. Cribs are not available.

FROM SIMON BOLIVAR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TAKE A DOMESTIC FLIGHT TO THE BARINAS' AIRPORT. FROM HERE TAKE A TAXI OR RENT A CAR DRIVING TOWARDS THE CITY OF MERIDA WHERE YOU'LL FIND ALL ALONG THE WAY SIGNS DIRECTING YOU TO THE RESORT WHICH WOULD BE AT A DISTANCE OF 70 KMS ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE.
