Jackson Hewitt Inc., headquartered in
Parsippany, NJ, was founded in the mid-1980's. In just over 15 years, Jackson
HewittŪ has expanded from 22 locations to over 3,300 locations in 47 states and
the District of Columbia. Offices are independently owned and operated and offer
full-service individual tax preparation, electronic filing and Refund
Anticipation Loans (if you qualify).

in the industry. ProFilerŪ, Jackson Hewitt's state-of-the-art, proprietary
software, is the driving force behind our success. ProFilerŪ is a forms and an
interview-based software program that guides the tax preparer through a series
of questions about you and your tax situation. Each answer generates additional
detailed questions in search of all available deductions. The ProFilerŪ software
is an expert system that minimizes the mistakes often made on handwritten
returns, while maximizing the available deductions, resulting in the largest
possible refund for you.
Electronic Filing
With the IRS's introduction of electronic filing in 1986, Jackson Hewitt was
among the leaders offering the service to the general public. Electronic-based
communication enables Jackson HewittŪ to transmit an individual's tax return to
the IRS and expedite the taxpayer's refund. The system and the knowledgeable
professionals at Jackson HewittŪ remove the possibility of errors often seen in
traditional, handwritten returns.
Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL)
Receive a loan based on
your tax refund in as little as one day.* Receive your money with all applicable
fees deducted, so there are no out-of-pocket expenses. FREE electronic filing

Accelerated Check Refund (ACR)
With our ACR service, you can
have your refund money in approximately 11-17 days. There are no out-of-pocket

Assisted Direct Deposit
Have your refund
check, minus all fees, directly deposited into your bank account in
approximately 13-19 days. It's the convenient way to get your refund because

IRS Direct
Receive your refund directly from the IRS. Use
direct deposit and your refund can be in your bank account within 11-17 days. Or
have your refund mailed to you in about 21 days.
Gold Guarantee*
We
offer a program that allows you to be covered up to $5,000 if a Jackson Hewitt
agent makes an error in preparing your individual tax return. Coverage under the
Gold Guarantee program is made available to you at an additional cost. Ask your
local tax preparer for more details.

We stand behind our
work
Each tax return prepared at a Jackson Hewitt Tax Service office
comes with our basic guarantee. Jackson HewittŪ will provide reimbursement of
penalties and interest charged by the IRS as a result of an error by a Jackson
HewittŪ agent in preparing your tax return. In addition, a representative of the
local Jackson HewittŪ office will appear with you at an audit, at no additional
cost, to explain how your return was prepared. It's one more way you get more
